You Are Not Alone
Some days are harder than others.
No doubt about it.
So things didn’t go the way you planned
or hoped
or prayed.
The struggle feels daunting
overwhelming
more than you can handle.
In these places, the enemy PREFERS to show up
to say the things that poke the hardest at the wound.
He wants us to recoil
pull away
run for cover…any cover.
(As if that is helpful.)
Why?
Because with Him is exactly where we need to be.
For healing.
Restoration.
Peace, real lasting peace.
But if the enemy can cause us to build walls of offense
distort our perception
then he has won the battle.
He wants to cause
divide
disunity
separation
between us and our good Father.
Oh Father, give me eyes to see you for who you are, not looking at you through some distorted filter of the enemy. I chose not to let the enemy shove me around anymore. I choose connection with You. He is a liar and his goal is to steal, kill, and destroy. You came that I might have life and have it abundantly. So I choose life today. Abundant life. Amen
